Mission

Hartmann Rink is a 501(c)3 volunteer organization whose mission is to make inline hockey available to anyone of any age or gender in Boulder County.

Hartmann Rink Code of Conduct

Agreeing that the opportunity to participate in Hartmann Inline Rink’s leagues and activities are a privilege, this Code of Conduct is presented to all hockey participants.  It is intended to be a clear set of expectations and rules of behaviors for all.


I understand and agree:

1. To respect the integrity, safety and dignity of others and their property.

2. To follow the ideals of sportsmanship, ethical conduct & fair play.

3. To be on time to games.

4. To respect the integrity and judgment of the game officials.

5. To remember that the athletic contest is only a game not a matter of life or death for the athlete, the coach, the team, the spectator or the community.

6. No swearing or abusive language on the bench or on the rink.

7. No lashing out at any official no matter what the call is. Your Captain will handle all matters as it pertains to officiating at the end of the period in question.

8. Anyone receiving a penalty will skate directly to the box.

9. Hartmann Inline Rink is a recreational hockey rink; which means that there is no checking.

10. Fighting will not be tolerated. Hartmann Inline Rink has a strict "Zero Tolerance Policy" with regard to fighting which will result in a minimum 1 game suspension.

11. Skating while under the influence of drugs, alcohol or other control impairing substances is strictly forbidden.

12. Any player or team official who cannot abide by these rules or violates them will be asked to leave Hartmann Inline Rink indefinitely.

13. Assumption of Risk: By engaging in skating, skaters are deemed to have knowledge of and assume the inherent risks of skating, which include but are not limited to the following:

               a. Injuries that result from collisions or contact with other skaters, dashboards or goals

               b. Injuries that result from falls
