Monday Drop-In Hockey Rules
Game Status: On :)
Rules specific to the Recreational Drop-In
The intent of these rules is to make the league more appealing
and accommodating to brand new players. We want persons that are new to the
game of hockey to be able to watch a drop-in and not to be intimidated by the
level and intensity of play, so that they will be willing to give it a try.
No player will be allowed to score
more than 3 goals per drop-in, the idea of an entry level night of hockey
is to include everyone and if a player is capable of score 3 or more goals they
probably shouldn’t be shooting or even playing on this night.
Dropping to block shots will not be
allowed. Safety is always our #1 priority and playing from the ground is
dangerous for everyone.
If a player is on the ground, that
player will not be allowed to play the ball until he or she is back up on
their skates. Again, safety is our #1 priority and playing from the ground is
dangerous for everyone. For example: the
player on the ground could very easily be hurt or hurt others that could trip
over them.
